This was a uni project. The brief was to completely re-design a successful brand but staying true to who they are. I chose Wagamama as I found their brand story really inspiring.
I had to keep the brand sophistcated and simple but upon talking to customers of Wagamama I discovered they found all the whiteness a bit bland and wanted something a little more exciting, therefore, I added lots of colour to simple shapes.
I created the 'noodle type' to add excitement to the identity so I could keep the logo simple.
