The main idea of the artwork is the creation of a ‘magic box’ made of wood, aluminium and audio equipment. Wondernoise is a grunge-crossover rock band from Trieste (Italy) and their sound is roughly amplified and pretty distorted by massive use of guitar effects and pompous amplifiers. So the main theme for the band’s first EP was the primal substance of their sound: audio tools and materials used for instruments. Audio goodies — fixed up together as a symbollc ‘container of noises of wonder’ — compose in this way the EP booklet, printed on a 350 gsm cardboard and handly assembled.
