Invitation design for Wigan & Leigh College's annual exhibition and passing-out. The invite is designed around the exhibition theme: Indian Street Art. This form of art found in every nook & corner in India is bright, rustic and beautiful. The title of the exhibition comes from 'Horn OK Please' , a phrase commonly painted on commercial vehicles in India.
We used 'Homelite Matchboxes' (large size) for the invites. Business cards of the students passing out, listing their skills, were placed inside the invite. The titles given to students come from the Kannada Film Industry where the superstars are lovingly known to the public by their 'star titles'. (eg. Power Star : Puneet Rajkumar, Golden Star : Ganesh)
