DOES THE UNIVERSE SPEAK MEANING?

HAVING SURVIVED MILLIONS OF YEARS
With the same innocence and oblivion of a newborn arriving into the world, we have emerged into this unknown uncertain universe. Stunned by its expanding grandiosity, we have gradually yet subconsciously shed all unnecessary genes and upgraded our physical essence through our information processing mechanism. And so, in order to survive this ever-so-evolving, unforgiving rock, we have consistently changed and are still changing with it.
ANXIETY OF WHAT WE ARE
Anxious to understand what we are and what it is all about, yet never told. We have searched deep within and without for inexplicable answers. And as our consciousness freshly gained ground and allowed for us to be aware of being aware, our desperation for filling the ultimate void got even more aggressive.
When we didn't find answers, we took risks and made discoveries. We deduced assumptions, then stored them up in intangible forms, within our minds-- Into collections of easily retrievable, consented by, stories-- A Human perspective of what the dark unknown may be.
Ergo, Meaning: The iconic term which has become the essence of our existence and our most valuable and vital of commodities. Traded daily amongst the most aware savants and greatest risk takers, then trickling down through the rest of us. Meaning allows us, as a species, a sense, a position and a temporary identity within the evolving truth.
THE FLEETING TRUTH
And so continues our adventure-- Man’s Journey into understanding. The path through the ever-so-fleeting truth. Insatiably exploring the unknown, insatiably building a road map for ourselves and future generations and insatiably uncovering our evolving place in the universe.
THE UNIVERSE DOES NOT SPEAK MEANING
Consequently, this makes us reconsider the preconceived notion that meaning is an external database which we are gradually conquering as part of our journey through the truth vacuum. Meaning is not an external library of knowledge but is, instead, our subjective road map into enlightenment. Meaning is our ingenious ability to map and make available to share. It is one of our most innovative, progressive skills, and most vital for our survival-- For without it, we wouldn't have stood a chance of competing with other species in dominating this environment while existing in it. Meaning is our own creation.
MEANING IS OUR OPINION OF THE UNIVERSE
Meaning is our own look through the Human lense. A series of agreed upon stories that unite us, give us direction and consolidate our efforts so that we could explore this harsh universe all together. Allowing us a chance of living long enough to uncovering deeper universal secrets. Meaning is why we evolve. Meaning is us. We are meaning.
