The Problem
The target market finds the artwork boring because reasons for the artwork are unclear. The artwork lacks additional information, which could help audiences that aren’t familiar with reading or interpreting art.

The solution
To create a platform that makes reasons for the artwork clear. The artwork needed to become more tangible, the experience at the gallery more memorable. Establishing a greater understanding between the artist and the artwork. I created the “WAMapp” which is an application for any tablet, iphone or android user. The app has an interactive home screen that allows user to select from themes based on the WAM collection, with access to archived pieces. It hosts an in house navigation system for users to navigate to selected artworks. The app loads hi res images of the artwork giving the user a more intimate and tangible experience with the work. An open discussion on the app allows for users to log on and discuss, comment, make sense of and share their opinions about artworks in the gallery.
