- Voltica - Ambigram Typeface
Sep 2011 - Feb 2012 4th semester of Typography - Ambigrams are words, that when turned around 180°still can be read the same way as in their original position.
The typeface «Voltica» has been especially designed in order to create ambigrams out of any word existing. Therefore I created an alphabet consisting in 351 different characters. There's one new character for every possible combination of two different letters and also for each letter combined with itself. The result are 26 different alphabets (forming one big alphabet of 351 characters). When turning around 180° any of these alphabets you're going to see their respective sequence of identical letters.
