Volpatohatz is an architecture studio based in beautiful Lugano, Swizerland. The product of husband and wife team, Marco Volpato and Nicole Hatz, they believe the fundamental aims of their new studio are based on design excellence, fresh ideas and quality of service, all wrapped up in the framework of strong client relationships, ongoing dialogue and collaboration. Quite simply, they believe in architecture and the impact good architecture has on how each one of us feels about life — at home, in the office and within our cities.

We created this site to showcase their amazing work around the world. Consideration was given to their desire to make this site perform well on the iPad, as this has become the de facto portfolio presentation tool for them during exploratory new business meetings with potential clients.

We believe this to provide a little bit more of an interesting slant on the much maligned architecture website genre.
