Volkswagen - Scirocco Digital
- Campaign backgroundThe new Scirocco print advertising was a complete departure from the usual tone of voice used by Volkswagen. No visual gags, no humour, just straight up product. So what can you say? Well by creating a piece of animation that shows off the beautiful lines of the Scirocco, from a multitude of angles, the ‘escape the ordinary’ tag line really came to life.

- Digital outdoorThe online animation was cut down to create an eye-catching outdoor digital ad. It was one of the first digital outdoor ads to make full use of the medium. It worked very well - I watched quite a few people photographing it in stations on my commute. CBS loved it so much they gave DDB & VW free ad space for a couple of weeks to showcase just how good their digital displays could be.
- Digital outdoor end frameThe end frame changed each day creating a countdown to increase a sense of anticipation prior to launch.
