Voices of the Youth:Democracy & Governance in Barbados
A look at Democracy and Governance from the perspective of Barbadian Young people.This is a joint project between the Barbados Youth Development Council (BYDC) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).The video involves a series of interviews with a wide cross section of Barbadian youth to gain their perspectives on matters related to democracy, governance, human rights and other pertinent issues. It also serves as a precursor to a major follow up project in 2012 in which the BYDC will focus on enhancing civic education, participation and democracy among our youth.
