The series of gigs under canvas in Cork every summer had a different logo each year and Vodafone, as new sponsors, wanted a definitive brand identity that would reflect the 'Our Network. Your Playground' campaign. We decided to incorporate the Marquee itself and merge this with a series of colours from the Vodafone palette.
The line up every year is eclectic with musical acts as diverse as Christy Moore and Jedward, so the logo needed to be applicable to many different musical genres and styles. Live at the Marquee also features non musical entertainers, such as comedians, so musical cues were not to be used in order that the logo was applicable with a variety of different acts.
