The Professors are the core of the Graphic Design department. What is so profound is the fact that we are not only receiving a SCAD education, but each one brings with them the knowledge and skills obtained at their alma matters. 

 

The piece above represents this notion. The nodes all pertains to a different professor. Using a Google map, the location of each node is based off of the geographical location of their respective college. The Cyan lines reflect the connection they each have to SCAD (red node) and the Magenta lines correlate to the connection the professors all have to each other. The Yellow lines branch off and symbolize the Graphic Design courses they each teach, with further connections made through overlapping of classes taught. 

 

Texture and form are accentuated through the full-length course descriptions underneath. A bird starts to take form as all the elements come together, with the idea that SCAD provides you with the tools you need to move forward in your new career as a successful Graphic Designer.
