This is my final 3rd year Visual Communication Project. We where told to chose a subject in the world of visual communication and research it trough the year. My project is about Calligraffiti, a product of two wide apart cultures. From an urban art form bred out of peoples urge to get noticed and discovered, to an ancient art form, developed and respected trough 4000 years.
My main goal with my research was to understand the main development of graffiti into calligraffiti. Why or how writers of this urban art form, environments and cultures got inspired of this well respected and important art form, so far apart from their writings on a wall or the local train.

 

Since the subject is big, i made the book big, A2!
