Client: TOCTAO Engenharia (2011).
Project: Naming and Branding for urban development.
Rational: Development of a company's brand that owns two different products: private luxurious residential community (Alphaville's competitor) and low-end urban community, both to be implemented in several brazilian states in the following years. The main challenge was to create two different names, but keeping a link between them, so the high-end market knowhow could work as a "quality seal" to engage potencial customers from the low-end one. The word “vista” which means "view", brings up the aspirational essence from the enterprises and links both of them directly. Both brands evoke she shape of an "eye", each of them interpreted in its own way. Vistadoro resembles a gold oak leaves crown (Civic Crown), which historically was an exclusive status ornament used by privileged people. Besides that, it also represented the city's protection tree in ancient Greece. On the other hand Plenavista denotes with minimalism the beauty, admiration and growth of a flower, bringing to mind an environmentally friendly idea with an authentical brazilian touch by its colour pallete.
