The sister of a work colleague approached me to design a full set of wedding stationery to compliment her late summer vintage country wedding.
Working as a marketeer for a large cosmetics supplier, the bride was clear on her brief - design a full set of wedding stationery that captured the essence, emotion and feeling of both the day ahead and to reflect the Bride and Groom's personalities - fun but stylish, elegant but playful.
The wedding was to be held in a countryside setting with very much a rural feel and so the chosen colour palette of peach, lilac and mint green helped to set the scene for the guests attending the day.
The stationery also carried a handmade feel, brought to life by the hand stitched buttons that were used to collate the invitations and RSVP cards together.
The final set of stationery included:
- Wedding invitations for both day and evening guests
- Wedding breakfast menu bookmarks (placed on each side plate at the breakfast table)
- Table Plan Tags
- Post Wedding Thank You Cards
