Mukambi Safari Lodge is an upmarket Safari Lodge in Kafue National Park in Zambia. In 2005 I designed a new family accommodation for the Lodge. The entrance face of the building is closed like a shell and the side overlooking the Kafue River open with a wide veranda. From every room visitors can enjoy the abundant wildlife in and around the river.

the entrance to the bathroom doesn't have a door. The curled walls provide enough privacy fwhile using the shower or toilet.

Inside is a central living room and 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms.The building is made of compressed mud blocks. The roof is made ofthatched grass. The walls are plastered with local clay and thefurniture is made by Made in Mongu, my furniture label in Mongu.
