Villa Del Cielo

  • Villa Del Cielo
    Henderson, Nevada USA
  • A Lake Las Vegas jewel, Villa del Cielo offers all the finest amenities of new
construction while capturing the timeless charm and Old World ambience of a European
village. A main 6,524 square foot two-story villa plus four private and beautifully
appointed casitas look as if they’ve taken centuries to perfect. Three casitas serve guests
and the fourth functions as a private office and library. The air-conditioned garage
houses three vehicles. A separate golf cart port is also provided. Take in the sunsets
from the salt-water pool and waterfall spa. Perfectly placed to frame panoramic views of
Lake Las Vegas, Rainbow Mountain and Montelago Village, Villa del Cielo represents
the finest of Lake Las Vegas offerings.

Owner and Designer, Lori Venners of LVI Design envisioned a home that lived and
looked old—warm, comfortable, and inviting. Teamed with Texas architect Thomas
Oppelt of Paddle Creek Design and builder, Greg Kaffka, the vision came to life. The
project spanned four years from the initial project meetings to completion.
The compound boasts an incredible attention to detail and features authentic and
reclaimed materials from Europe, Ecuador and Mexico. The driveway is historic
reclaimed sandstone cobblestone from Western Europe. The Spanish roof is two-piece
clay tile imported from Spain installed with a blend of colors to establish an authentic
look of moss and natural stains. The hardwood flooring used is a combination of
reclaimed and hand-scraped Austrian ash, larch and spruce. Other reclaimed materials
include cabinetry, beams, fireplace materials, and terra cotta flooring imported from
Southern France. The exterior and dining room canterra stone was hand quarried and
imported from Tlaquepaque, Mexico. Custom carvings and hand-painted murals add an
    artistic touch of elegance.

Integration of the latest technology makes this Old World home modern and energy
efficient. The lighting system is HAI and there is a state-of-the-art sound system
throughout, including rock speakers hidden in the landscape. The home incorporates a
steam shower, dry sauna, security cameras, automated exterior lighting, halogen
cabinetry lighting and a 13-zone heating and air conditioning system. Most window and
French doors are dual pane argon gas filled glass with silver oxide coating. The utility
room features an MTI dog spa. Twenty-first century conveniences meet pure Old World
luxury in this one of a kind home.
