2008, Fictional – I have always been a huge fan of illustration. Growing up with a fantastic artist (my mother) inspired me to draw on a regular basis. This project was completed as a major component of an Information Design class. The idea was to create a promotional tourist item for a location/event in Montreal. Naturally, I chose the Old Port as it is one of the most distinctive tourist locations in the city. Several main attractions were illustrated in ink, with a corresponding map location on the reverse side of a long fold-out panel, mimicking a “mini-map”.
