I find inspiration for my print design work in the most unexpected places. This pattern is based on a giant photo of a papaya hanging in a pastry shop down the street from where I live. When I saw the photo, I immediately wanted to create a print using fruit shapes and tropical colors. I used the fruit seeds to add extra texture and added multiple layers of transparent fruit to create a print as warm and vibrant as the jungle itself.
