A multiplayer business game on startups and investments - VentureWars is a multiplayer business game developed by Xavi Esteve. The game has a very neat and fast User Interface.The User Experience is great just from the start, to create an account you just need to Authorize with Twitter in two clicks and your user is created and customised (username, photo, bio, etc.).The game itself allows a lot of playability and integrates neatly with Twitter, allowing players to tweet to other players in the game.Xavi Esteve has created the game strategy and algorithms, documentation, design of the wireframes, design of the User Interface, studied the User Experience, designed the website, developed the front-end and programmed the back-end.VentureWars runs in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, PHP and MySQL.
- Mobile web appVentureWars has been developed with a Responsive Web Design and can be played perfectly in iPhones, iPads, Androids or any other smartphone or tablet. VentureWars is platform and screen resolution agnostic. The HTML is also optimised to require very few bandwidth as well as images (using a CSS sprite) and loads pages using less than 10KB.
