Diesel Wall NY '07:
The wire-vein, the flatness of the wall gets disturbed with its own trace, virtually manipulated by the chaos of the surrounding environment, having 'natural and artificial' conditions (the street's dynamics): cars passing by, the intersection of daily pedestrian, the conglomeration of people at rush hours, and air flow waves. The result is a deformed vector that starts to sew himself, forming 'a cross section' and creating a series of shadows on the canvas wall, overlapping one another until giving birth to its own halo (which is the bluish tone on the image) ghost out behind the main wire-vein (which is the continuous reddish line) now vital to the building wall and bumping out from the old skin, screaming at the same time ‘alive’ to the neighbor buildings around.

BODIES IN 'NO-SPACE'
Text & Images by Cristo

Knowing a space, floating inside, being trapped.
The day starts with you, lying at my side.
Time stops, space freezes and our bodies collapse.

How can the asymmetry of two bodies be at the same time parallel to each other?
Is it because everything is static while our eyes are close?

The gentle movement of one soul starts the friction.
Heat builts up. The room changes its colors to a vividly red.
It is pure and immortal, but it can only last for a few minutes.

It is exactly here in this room,
where it occurs the change of axes,
horizontal to vertical and vice versa.

This contrast makes healthier and stronger footings for new ideas to grow.
A fresh habitat, where dreams are erected.
But dreams and thoughts cannot stay forever here.
There is not enough space.

Passing the threshold from side to side.

There is no sky inside this room.
But there are clouds of trust and faith.
The walls are strong and yet so light,
that sun's rays penetrates it by.

Space merges from the ground.
Nothing moves (structure),
and yet all (bodies) floats inside.

Textures change as I come back.
Room by room the city is build.
You and I have seen it all.
We pass it by and left our marks.
Tomorrow’s men will change it back.

Every day I walk a road to the same place
and every day I get confuse and lost myself,
until nature shows me the way
where roots have come outside the ground
I smell new textures and see a fragrance,
shadows of you and me just passing by.
Peepshow Int'l Pavilion Design Competition 2005:
Art City Festival in Calgary Canada
The peepshow pavilion is a transparent body that disappears. A continuous line-structure exposed, which dislocates the space and delineates a translucent box. Envelope and Structure collapsed with each other, negating one another and leaving inside the body a void for art display, which becomes the focal point of view, visible from inside and the outside, being this the leitmotif of the entire space.
The Plan-less House Shinkenchiku Residential Design Competition 2006:
The simplicity and symmetry of a square, begins to multiply (auto-programs a symmetrical repetition)  inside himself, in different scale factors. The resulting areas, are broken by a series of lines placed in a 'X-Y' grid coordinate system (representation of walls in an architectural drawing), that evolve into a pattern and instead of being read as limits and/or separation of space, the pattern is transformed into a texture that helps unify/separate the body of the building, giving depth and losing the planes, symmetry and proportion of the original square shape.
