The "Horchata" song by Vampire Weekend, portrayed in After Effects using kinetic typography and Particular v2.0 (plugin).
My thoughts for this video, were two things. Making a viral video for my school project and do something with it that I really like.
Well the last one was the easiest, because I just got this song in my head for a week or so, so why not put it to use. As for the viral part, there is no recipe for making a viral video, that I just know people will see afterward.
So my idea was to take something revelevant in time. By having chosen a song by Vampire Weekend, there were no official video for, they were being played more and more on the radio, and who should play at Roskilde Festival 3 months later, it got viewed by many over a short period of time - Already over 3000 people have watched this video on YouTube.
So mission acompliched!
