Vista is a landscape photography magazine. The magazine is targeted at adventurous amateur photographers that want to get out and take beautiful landscapes of their own. It will focus on a range of landscape, underwater, astrophotography, and timelapse photographers. Vista’s main feature will be articles following and showcasing work of the leading landscape photographers in the field. The front departments will focus on the more product and technical side such as photo tips and setting up the shot, post-production tips, new equipment reviews, and maybe location maps. I want the main focus of the magazine to be the photo’s themselves, so my goal is to create a design that is modern & minimalistic. I want the type to be bold and powerful so that you can easily read and understand but I don’t want the type to distract from the photos.
