My goal was to create a graphic identity on three masterpieces of the author Victor Hugo for " Le Livre de Poche ". Le livre de poche edits pocket books. The creative strategy includes these words : contemporary, for young people, dynamic and colorful.
In my mind, I wanted to join the work of Victor Hugo : Writer - lot of poems like “ Le jour d'un condamné ”, “ Les misérables ”... These are poems about twentieth century and society. In a graphical vision, I had illustrated the stories and I created some caligraphic words and shapes with india ink to represent the history of these books. And we know that Victor Hugo draw very well.
