STUDY DESCRIPTION

We had an opportunity to look at proposing a unique development at Vancouver's waterfront; reconnecting Granville Street and Howe Street back to the waterfront which is currently cut off by several railway tracks. A concourse, raised above the tracks, would allow for several opportunities to be made:
- the city bus system, the Westcoast Express rail system, the sea bus port and the sky train all converge to make a revitalized city hub.
- a new waterfront promenade would be created on the concourse to make a strong connection to places like the convention centre.
- a new sea bus port would be created to integrate into the new concourse and promenade.
- two new towers would be proposed on the concourse allowing opportunities for a hotel, retail, condominiums and office to be established.
