Had a long time to learn the stationery industry in this trend setting company. From day one I was knee-deep in pattern and art design for paper notebooks and binders, which were the primary offerings way back in 2002. In time I became the head of the art department, where besides doing hands-on design, I was in charge of all internal and outside communications between the marketing, sales and director at large. Then came a time where a collection based trend was developed, where we started adding categories to the base designs, so outsourcing was needed, mainly Asia based. I was fortunate enough to be explicitly involved in all aspects of the production process, from initial concept to final production in the varied manufacturing plants where the product was made.

Extensive license work was an integral part of the business model, and was fortunate enough to be handed prime brands from the likes of Disney, Warner Brothers, DC Comics, Movie Characters like Shrek and Batman, plus countless others.
