The task was to create a "Literary Center" as an infill project in Scotland, Glasgow. My vision was that of a multidiscipline center that focused on advancement of a variety of creative pursuits, beyond only literature. In the spirit of an influential Glasgow figure, Charles Mackintosh, this design intends to bridge a gap that lies between classic art nouveau and modern/contemporary architecture.
