I created a logotype for the “10 Unit System” designed by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban and the Finish furniture
company Artek. The system is composed of 10 L-UNITs that can be combined to assemble a chair, a stool or table.

I first came across the system in 2011 at the Art Institute of Chicago’s “Hyperlink Architecture and Design” exhibition.
I wanted to create a logotype that mimics the sturdy yet organic lines of the chair, but also the accessibility of the system.
