Close up photos of flowers not only reveal their beauty but give way to fabulous inspirations.
I use them as start up for my illustrations. Preparing the picture in Photoshop I draw with a digital tableau pen the linework and hatching in layers. During this process really fantastic details are revealed to me which create in somehow a new world.
With a fitting background from a variety of pattern selection I complete the art work.
You see always two details and then the whole picture. The original size is 42 x 30 cm. All photos are taken by myself.
