Undergrad Logo/Identity
Emotigraph Logo / June 2011

Guidelines: Come up with a logo to be used for a mobile application that will track the users emotions over time.

Collaboration with: Kara Leiby & Yi Liu

Statement: This was a collaborative project that I worked on during my internship at Primarily Rye. I led a group of two other interns and after a lot of researching and sketching, we arrived at this solution. It depicts emotion in a fun and simple way. We chose to have many different color versions of the logo due to the funcionality of the mobile application, but the standard logo is a neutral gray.
Third Coast Creatives Logo / July 2011

Guidelines: Design a logo for the new internship program at Primarily Rye.

Collaboration with: Berenice Valdes, Kara Leiby, Whitnee Webb, & Yi Liu

Statement: This was a collaborative project with four other interns at my summer internship at Primarily Rye. My supervisor wanted to brand and promote his internship program. We chose to use a portion of the United States that we designated as the “third coast”. We then chose and modified a typeface that would appeal to college students. We used a marker that you might find on a map to dot the ‘i’ in order to reinforce the importance of location in this brand.
Setlist logo / July 2011

Guidelines: Create a logo for a website that helps booking agents find musical talent and helps musical talent find booking agents.

Collaboration with: Kara Leiby & Yi Liu

Statement: This was a collaborative project that I worked on during my internship at Primarily Rye. I worked with two other interns and after a lot of researching and sketching, we arrived at this solution. It depicts the atmosphere of live music without losing professionalism.
Healthy Mondays logo / December 2011

Guidelines: Create a, bold, eye-catching, typographic logo for Campus Recreation's Healthy Mondays @ GVSU.
Logo for a Classmate / September 2010

Guidelines: Interview a classmate and make a logo for them.

Statement: Shea is reserved but still has a lot of personality. She is small but spirited. I chose to use Minion Pro as her typeface because it fit these criteria. I wanted her logo to be simple but still have complexities. I found a way to integrate the letters of her name into a compact symbol that all in all represents Shea.
Drinkware Company logo / May 2010

Guidelines: Create a logo for a company that specializes in personalization of drinkware.
