I'm not entirely sure where the idea for this set of illustrations came from. The initial iceberg floating in the sea was simply a Photoshop test of some new textures, but when the cargo ship was introduced, it seemed to hint at an underlying narrative. The song "Into The Breeze" by David Kitt had recently shuffled its way into my head, and that title created a nice juxtaposition with the image.

So I tried some further variations of locations and atmospheric conditions for the brave ship to navigate, and paired each with the title of a favourite song that seemed to fit thematically.
