This is a long term photographic project about world sleepers. II balances between sociology and poetry.
The people you will see aren't homeless, they're just normal workers, in our modern society.
You can find here some sleeping people in India, south east asia, south america, and europe. Or maybe you will find dreaming people, it depends. The "indian" pictures of this serie have been awarded by Corbis and the french art director's club in Paris, in 2008.
A book has now been released, and it's for sale in France and online here. The book includes more than 100 photographs of sleepers in about 30 countries around the world.

Romain Philippon is a french freelance photographer, living and working in Indian Ocean (Reunion Island).
His main photographic subjects are the human being condition, and the world globalization. He likes to insert poetry in all of that.
