Unbearable Lightness of a Balloon

Photography

This is the story about an empty earth. People are no longer here.
They destroyed everything, annihilated one another.
On this hollow planet, one balloon is looking for a child to play with.

The title is a paraphrase of the great Milan Kundera's novel "Unbearable Lightness of Being"

The drawings are made by Ignacy, Marcel and Katia, Magdalena Wilk's children. She is my friend from elementary school.
Big thanks to all of them.

Big thanks to Joanna Pawłowska, without her, balloons can't fly.

Huge thanks to Emilka Wieczorek, Marta Sadowska, Magdalena Szymańska and their children for their help.

Special thanks to Darrell Curtis, cheers !
