This miniature accordion book explores haiku poems in Papiamentu (Creole language spoken on the islands of the Netherlands Antilles) written by Curaçao poet Elis Juliana. Each page is printed on painted watercolor paper with a haiku in Papiamentu on one side and an English translation on the other, all pages are hand sewn together to form this 80-page accordion fold that fits into handmade matchbox type of box.
