Lockheed Martin sponsored the USA Science & Engineering Festival in 2012.
I was tasked with handling all of the front-end design for the app. The app consisted of deliverables for BlackBerry, Android, iPhone, and iPad platforms.
The logo for the event was already created and supplied to us and then I experimented with different approaches to how we could apply the items we needed to promote a consistent brand.
A few different color schemes were tried out. For the iOs devices there were launch screens, icons for the navigation areas, a background for the in-app icons to reside on, and a graphic for the iTunes store and Android Marketplace.
I wish we had the ability to approach all of this in a more innovative way as far as the user interface and experience. But, the app is structured around a preexisting application container and then all of our content and elements were fit into a dictated scenario.
Fast and easy job! But fun.
