UPPLEIÐ
- Installation through a walking path in Þrastaskógur forest, South of Iceland.Iceland Art Academy, 2011.

- Uppleid is the name of an installation along a 500 meter walking path in Þrastaskógur, a small forest popular for outdoors activities. The aim of the installation is to pass on information about the forest and its plants in an interesting and educational way.

- Along the path, plants from the forest are strung between trees, by using a Japanese method called Kokedama. Kokedama, literally means moss ball, which is a botanical technique meant to raise plants to eye level. The moss balls house the root system, which is wrapped and then suspended. This method is adjusted to plants from the forest by which we hope people will see the forest in a different light.

- Under each plant hangs an information sign regarding the plant or its surroundings.
