I was approached by Ambient Creative to design a snowboard deck for their client, ULLR, a new drink targeted to snow sports enthusiasts. It was named after the Nordic god of the same name responsible for the snowfall.
The most rewarding part about this project was that I was encouraged by the Art Director at Ambient, to just go for it. He didn't give me any real direction except to have fun with it. So I did. I decided to go with a traditional sketch and then went over it in ink. I vectorized it and decided on the layout you see below. Enjoy.
