How do you design the UI for a medical device that sits next to a patient recovering from trauma?
This question was at the center of the design teams mind as I worked on multiple versions of a UI for a touchscreen medical device for a major manufacturer. Working with the interaction and visual design team across multiple offices, I designed a range of directions that went from cute and friendly to technical and simple.
As the design was finalized, the client praised my ability to clearly communicate the concepts, coordinate with the development team and deliver the style guide.
