London Slang
_
Slang is seen as a vulgar form of the English language, often judged and associated with urban culture and of lower class status. In reality, it is spoken everyday by Londoners, juxtaposed with the use of Proper English. My project explores this idea with a portable typographic poster that intends to challenge the use of language within context, amongst today’s society in London.
The Experiment
_
The poster was placed in two contrasting locations of London to see how people responded.
Filmed reactions.
