Typography Design Paradoxes

  • Typography Design Paradoxes

Typographic Designs that contradict their verbal meanings-

    A Design experiment

  • Shall I call it "TYPOGRAPHIC DESIGN PARADOXES"?
These are some typographic experiments in designing that I have done. The designs are the exact opposites of what they say, in typography and in overall design. It happened like this... I was walking through my office campus and I noticed a "Danger" signboard on the fence of a big transformer there. The sign was in red, but the font that they had used was something very simple (It was Avantegarde) that it wasn't even conveying the 'hazard message' it was meant to. My experiment here is this... If a design has to convey the message it has to, it depends entirely upon the type of font, the color, the size etc... U read something in each of these images, but visually each of them conveys what it exactly means... So this is to let you know that design is everywhere... A change in what you have been seeing surprised you and gave u a completely opposite idea. U got confused. right? Design impacts your subconscious brain.
