This was a brief given to us this year at university. The brief was to originally take a minimum of 10 photos with the title of "Man Vs Sea". After this we were given a body of text in a word file to spread out over a catalogue. This was to be combined with the photos we took in either A5 or A4 format.
The photos i took were of places around Cornwall and Guernsey that have seen ship wrecks on their shores. The idea was that the shipwreck was there and can no longer be seen. So i created these fold out pages for the photos, so they were hidden until you unfold them. Along with this theory the photos i took were a series of panoramic shots. This meant they were made up of 3-4 photos stitched together. This led me to the separate photo idea for the poster where the type stays the same but the background is different to create one long photo. This transferred to the front cover sleeve that wraps around the hardback.
