A typographic poster printed in A2 based on the subject of my dissertation; The changing perception of street art in modern culture. (or something like that???)
Text on poster:
The amplifying power of the Internet gave street art the momentum and potential to be more global than any other art movement that has ever been.
You can witness the globalization of this urban culture through every medium on nearly every continent, the ever-evolving influence it has on everyday life and design.
This once frowned upon art style is now the biggest Commodity in Art Today. You are not a serious collector without your Latest Bansky or Mr. Brainwash addition.
So where does this leave the future of street art? And once you remove it from the streets does it fade away and die or evolve and give birth to the new cool?
