For this project we were assigned to a typographer. Then we had to make a shadow box representing them. The typographer that I was assigned to was Herb Lubalin. Then we researched about the typographer for interesting facts about them and making a presentation bout them. I found out that he was the typographer who designed and created the typeface, Avant Garde. For the shadow box I wanted to show difference between his font and others. His font has a interesting 'A' shape. Unlike many other 'A's it is not symmetrical. It is tilts to the right. I thought I was simple yet showed him clearly. I wanted to emphasize the difference between the types. Therefore I only used Black and White with no color.
