This was my final project in my Typography 1 class in which we were assigned a famous song to design a typographic poster for. I was matched with Billy Preston's 1970s hit, "Will it Go Round in Circles." Our teacher, Karen Dorff, made sure to select songs that allowed for a fun visual expression. Mine centered around what else, but circles. The idea behind this poster was to go retro and to give the feeling of being all turned around. I tried to shift the type around in a way that would achieve this goal. We also had to incorporate lyrics, as well as concert information for the "imaginary" musical event. Upon looking closely, one can see such attributes.
