Typographic Exploration Book
This book outlines my process of setting type. It follows the principles from Robert Bringhurst’s “The Elements of Typographic Style” and the book progresses from strictly text to adding images in later sections. The text used is from Italo Calvino’s “Invisible Cities.” We were able to experiment in the last section of the book, and I pulled images of the city of Jakarta, Indonesia and worked them into interesting typographic layouts.
