Typographic Experiment
- TYPE EXPERIMENT
- Using a simple equation inspired to mimic the simplicity of nature, I used it to define a rule to construct the type forms below. I used nails thread and needles to construct the pieces.The letters were made by taking each anchor point of the letter and using thread to find the shortest most efficient path based on my equation. I started by experimenting with shapes and forms and eventually worked my way to an entire font.The experiment was not designed to create a readable font, but was based on efficiency and the length of thread. Some letters are hard to depict but all have a sense of order and natural beauty.
