Project 5 of the course asked us to create a poster involving someone living or dead, to promote an event.

I chose the Sci Fi writer Jules verne, responsible for some of the most famous early Sci Fi, like Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea and Around the World in Eighty Days. 

I used the titles of some of his work as well as characters and places for the structural elements of the ballon and famous quotes from his books as the anchor ropes.

While thinking about using type as the main graphic element for a design, I created a music poster for my brother's birthday featuring some of the musical artists he has enjoyed.
