Interactive Motion type Installation
behind this installation is to look at typography in a purely formal
sense, and while distancing it from its
inherent literal or lingual meaning, to
express meaning by using and treating its form alone. Using the
idea of a microscope and what the act of looking into something evokes and implies, the 5 levels of magnification
revealed by the turning of the knob, each try to represent a certain state of
being through the mood that the movement
of the letter-forms evoke.
In an ecology of letter-forms and type, what would
be their characteristics and social behaviours? What would be the different layers of organization
within this ecology?
