Type Designer Panels
For my Typography 2 course at RISD, I created a series of three 16"x16" panels that communicates type designer Matthew Carter's works and contributions to typography in history. The panels are designed to work as a set as well as individual pieces. My goal was to convey Carter's pluralistic approach to the setting of text for print and the screen as his career in type design has witnessed the transition from physical metal type to digital type.
