Type Bible is based on the history of one of the very first type designers and their typefaces ever made. It introduces the beginning of the movable type invented by Gutenberg in the 1400s to how italics were made and how it came to todayís typefaces made digitally, showing the development process of typefaces. Because the earlier stages of typefaces were used to print Bibles, the book is designed in a bible concept with gold embellishments, but also designed in a contemporary way by keeping it simple and clean to communicate both parts of time, the old and new. The book is also designed with formal grid system with three colours of black, white and mustard yellow, keeping it calm and traditional so it keeps that bible concept.
To further enhance the idea of bible, twelve most important type designers have been chosen for the book to be called the twelve disciples.
