I’m capable of doing the ‘quirky’ fun style of work but I’m also fully experienced in doing corporate websites/branding so don’t be too put off! The Challenge
 
Defend & strengthen Twisties leadership in Total Snacks – currently growing very minimally and facing threat of losing to competitors.
 
The opportunity
 
To get deeper into the youth consumer psyche.
 
The Insight

Objective
 
- Drive consumption frequency through new look.
- To create hype, further build affinity with consumers through enhancing relevant & ownable characteristic of
  Twisties (Bold, Wacky & Unpredictable).
 
The Main Idea
 
New look supported by exciting activities that further bring out the BOLD, WACKY & UNPREDICTABLE characteristic of Twisties.
 
New Pack Launch (October)
 
To create impactful launch activities/event to drive awareness and talkability the new look 
What Do We Want To Achieve?
 
On Facebook/Twistiesmalaysia, visitors can make a ‘Like to Launch’ Pledge. All Twisties fans can pledge to ‘Like to Launch’ on a dedicated counter. Twisties will launch the 5 new packs to space if the counter reaches 100k clicks of ‘Like to Launch’. Making everyone involved in the campaign feel like they’ve contributed to the New Twisties pack.
 
How?
 
Using available digital assets and digital on-ground activities to create curiosity and awareness towards facebook/twistiesmalaysia 100k ‘Like to Launch’ pledge.  After which they attend the event finale and stand to win great prizes.
 
THE PLEDGE!
When we achieve 100k ‘Like to Launch’ on Facebook….
 
WE WILL LAUNCH
TWISTIES ‘NEW’ PACKS
INTO SPACE!
- Attach the new Twisties packs in a transparent holder to a sizeable helium-filled balloon
- Go-Pro camera co-attached to record the ascent. Also attached is a GPS location tracker to retrieve footage
- Once balloon hits the nano-sphere, (approaches a near absolute zero temperature) it will burst, and the
  holder containing the 5 variants of Twisties will come plummeting down
- Retrieve footage to edit (estimated raw footage is about 4 hours)
- Footage has to be edited to about 4 minutes showing milestones of the ascent
On-Ground AR Interactive Photobooth:
AR big hand ‘LIKE’ Photo kiosk
 
This kiosk will be placed at a multitude of places. Ranging from supermarkets to cinemas, basically anywhere young people hang-out. Give the machine a thumbs-up and the camera will activate. AR thumbs ups will be generated onto your hands and auto-uploaded only to Facebook/twistiesmalaysia where the photo will be available for download.
 
The objective is to drive traffic to Facebook to engage consumers with the Twisties ‘Like to Launch’ pledge.
On-Ground Roving Team:
Big hand ‘LIKE’ Characters
 
A multitude of Twisties characters with big ‘LIKE’ hands will be dispatched to engage with consumers. A photographer will follow them around taking pictures with the characters and consumers. The digital photographs will be uploaded only to Facebook for download. An attached QR code will also drive consumers to Facebook/twistiesmalaysia. This mascot will also lead supermarket visitors to the actual Twisties product sampling booths
On-Ground Twisties Air Swimmer:
RC Floating Clownfish with Big Hand ‘LIKE’
 
An RC floating clownfish controlled by a guy in a diving suit will be deployed at malls, hyper-/supers where possible, dragging along a big ‘LIKE’. An attached QR code will also drive consumers to Facebook/twistiesmalaysia
Event Finale:
Raining Twisties!
 
During the finale, the Twisties launch to space edited video will be played – approx. duration 4mins. Once the video shows the part where the helium balloon pops…
… a giant balloon containing the new packs explodes, showering the audience with a rain of Twisties new packs
Like to Launch pledge!
 
This is the main communication platform to build hype towards the big event, where Twisties new packs will be launched into space.
